The previous growing season ended with normal temperatures. Substantial winter frosts already appeared during the month of November and recorded temperatures several degrees lower than usual.
The lower temperatures at the beginning of the cycle, together with the rainfall registered mainly during the month of March, favored a good development and budburst in the vineyards.
The intense drought suffered throughout the lberian Peninsula provoked an early maturation and a substantial reduction in production, due to smaller grape size, but with excellent quality and sanitary conditions.

Grape Varieties:
Tempranilla 100% with Organic certification, between 5 and 20 years.
Terroir: Limestone soils located between 822-908 metres altitude.
Maturation:
More than 3 months in new French (50%) and used American (50%) oak barreis.
Appearance:
Wine with a powerful cherry red colour with violet hues, that reveals its youth.
On the nose:
Intense aromas dominated by fresh fruit like strawberries, redcurrants and blackberries, cream and slight minerality. Stirring the glass,
we perceive subtle aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, and chocolate.
On the palate:
lt is a fresh and lively wine with good volume with good balance of primary aromas, acidity, and soft tannins. The freshness, youth and subtlety of the selected oak contribute to an attractive sensation on the palate. The wine is persistent.
